Taco Bell Invents the Chicken Nugget Again With Naked Chicken Chips

If you were wondering what Taco Bell planned to do with all of that breaded chicken now that the Naked Chicken Chalupa is gone, we’ve got the answer for you: Starting soon, they’ll be cutting it all into triangles and selling it as “Naked Chicken Chips,” which you might also already know as “chicken nuggets.”

There’s certainly less to be excited and/or repulsed by this time, given the menu item’s simplicity. If you plan on trying this “new” creation after it debuts on May 11, you might want to be relatively speedy about it, as Taco Bell’s last limited-time offer was only available for about two months. As you can mostly see from the image above, you’re in for some lightly spiced, breaded chicken paired with the Bell’s (we’re sorry) signature nacho cheese sauce.

For more of that online Taco Bell content you’re similarly ashamed for craving, take a look at our non-review review of the Naked Chicken Chalupa, and be sure to check back with Paste for future updates on whatever curiosities or abominations the fast food industry cooks up next.
