New Lenovo Legion 5i and 7i Laptops to Come With 10th Gen CPU and Latest NVIDIA

Thursday, Lenovo announced their new Legion 5i and 7i gaming laptops would feature the latest in Intel and NVIDIA technology. At a reasonable price of $999, the 5i offers up to RTX 2060, while the 7i, priced at $1199, will rise to 2080. Both laptops will sport NVIDIA G-SYNC, which the company cites will allow for more seamless gameplay. Both will also come equipped with Intel’s 10th gen CPU and the new NVIDIA Advanced Optimus, allowing for extended battery longevity. The Optimus is capable of detecting whether your unit is operating with a heavy or light workload and adjusts performance and battery accordingly.

Given the relatively modest price, Lenovo’s new laptop series could be one to hop on for those seeking a low maintenance, ready-to-go gaming unit. Several of us have turned to gaming, so it’s the perfect time to get involved in a MMO or FPS community.

Further info is currently scant, but we’re optimistic that the new Lenovo Legion series could be a great choice for gaming laptop first-timers or any desktop users who are looking for a mobile alternative.
