Outlast II Officially Has a Release Date

Outlast II, developed by Red Barrels, the same indie studio that brought us the terrifying 2013 original, now has an official release date of April 25.
Initially set to come out in late 2016, the horror sequel was then delayed to Q1 2017. With its new mid-spring date, the title is only barely missing that mark. The game will be available both physically and digitally, though no specific price point has been announced yet. Also releasing on that April date is Outlast Trinity, a physical bundle including the original game, its Whistleblower DLC and Outlast II.
Find today’s announcement tweets from the studio below, and if you missed out on the original Outlast, you can check out Paste’s 2013 review here. Outlast II will release for PS4, PC and Xbox One.
