Happy Star Wars Day: Here’s a Trailer for the New Canonical Plot Lines in LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens

May the Fourth be with all of you today, particularly those of you looking for information on what happened between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens. The new trailer for the upcoming LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens video game teases some interesting reveals, including how Lor San Tekka got his part of the map to Luke Skywalker and how Poe Dameron rescued Admiral Ackbar (presumably after getting the Admiral’s location from C-3PO). Players will be able to navigate a total of six new adventures in addition to the entire plot of The Force Awakens.

And all of these additional stories are canon, according to Graham Goring, the head writer of the game. “So how that happened is, Lucasfilm came to us and said, ‘These are bits of background information you could expand upon and turn into levels,’” Goring told TIME in an interview. “They had a very good idea of what people would want to know, like C-3PO’s red arm, or what was Lor San Tekka doing before the start of the film. He appears briefly in it, but you know, other stuff like what happened to the rest of Han’s crew when they hunted the Rathtars.”

The LEGO Star Wars game is also set to feature voice work from most of the cast of The Force Awakens, making this an intriguingly full extension of the Star Wars universe. For a franchise that has thrived upon expansion to every conceivable form of media, it’s not a huge surprise … but it is a reason to play the game, which comes out June 28. Watch the trailer above.
