Tim Heidecker Joins Jordan Peele’s Thriller Us

Comedian Tim Heidecker has joined the cast of Jordan Peele’s Us, his directorial follow-up to 2017’s smash success Get Out.

As THR reports, Heidecker (Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!) will star alongside Elisabeth Moss, Lupita Nyong’o and Winston Duke (Black Panther). Heidecker, who’s currently appearing in Ant-Man and the Wasp, will also star in A24’s new venture into TV, Moonbase 8, opposite John C. Reilly and Fred Armisen.

Details about the film’s plot are being kept under wraps, but we do know that the story of Us will follow two couples, one white and one black. Check out the first poster for the film here.

Jack of all trades and master of apparently everything, Peele is writing, directing and producing the film via his production company Monkeypaw. Us is part of a slew (tsunami?) of new projects that Peele is involved with, including a Twilight Zone reboot, a Lorena Bobbitt docuseries, the second season of Tracy Morgan’s The Last O.G., a ‘70s-set Nazi-hunting drama for Amazon, HBO’s thriller series Lovecraft Country, Netflix’s stop-motion animated Wendell and Wild, a sci-fi comedy for YouTube, and maybe—just maybe—a sequel to Get Out. But, no, seriously, congrats on carrying in all the groceries in one trip.

Us hits theatres March 15, 2019, but check back for other new projects Peele is bound to take on in the near future.
