We’re still reeling from the Avengers: Infinity War trailer, but yet another trailer for a sequel to a box-office behemoth is on the way. Last night brought our first look at the forthcoming trailer for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, which will hit Thursday during Thursday Night Football.
The tease is just 15 seconds long, but we get our looks at the returning characters played by Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard (who appears to be wearing more practical footwear this time around). They are joined by franchise newcomer Justice Smith (The Get Down, the forthcoming Detective Pikachu movie), playing a scientist. The trio run away from a dinosaur stampede—how they got into this predicament, we will have to learn later.
The film will also star James Cromwell, Daniella Pineda and Rafe Spall, with BD Wong returning and Jeff Goldblum reprising his role as Ian Malcolm. Get ready for him to drop some knowledge on chaos theory (and perhaps make some noises). J.A. Bayona (A Monster Calls) directed a screenplay from Colin Trevorrow and Derek Connolly, both of whom recently departed Star Wars: Episode IX.
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom will stomp into theaters on June 22, 2018. Check back Thursday for the full trailer.
