Rogue One hit theaters and audiences like a bag of bricks, providing the most emotional and heavy Star Wars story since Empire Strikes Back. (Not that there’s been a ton of competition, but whatever.) Well, the folks over at Honest Trailers saw it, and they kinda liked it.
It turns out most of their complaints are legitimate, boiling down to the fact that Rouge … er, Roge … whoops, sorry, Rogue One really exists as “the most money anyone’s ever spent to fill in a plot hole.” But the most accurate point is that Rogue One is “one of the most beautiful Star Wars films to date, that feels like the world’s biggest budget fan film.” Oh well, we guess it’s not absolutely perfect.
