Channing Tatum Voices a Yeti Who Tries to Prove Humans Exist in First Trailer for Smallfoot

We all know the legend of the mighty Yeti. However, we don’t know if they have a legend about us. Smallfoot turns the legend upside down when a young Yeti discovers something he never thought existed: humans.

The young Yeti, Migo, begins an adventure to prove humans exist when his community doesn’t believe him. The tribe is thrown into a tizzy by talk of something existing beyond their mountain community nestled high above the clouds.

The film features an all-star voice cast, led by Channing Tatum as Migo, who sets out to prove he knows what he saw. The Late Late Show host James Corden voices a human whom Tatum’s Migo encounters on his journey, while Zendaya (The Greatest Showman), Common (The Tale), basketball legend LeBron James, Gina Rodriguez (Annihilation), Danny DeVito (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia), Yara Shahidi (Black-ish), Ely Henry (Justice League Action) and YouTube star-turned-actor Jimmy Tatro (American Vandal) all costar.

Karey Kirkpatrick, the award-winning director of Over the Hedge, directs the film for Warner Bros. Pictures and Warner Animation Group, with Bonne Radford (Curious George) and Storks and This is Us producers Glenn Ficarra and John Requa producing. Kirkpatrick wrote the screenplay, which was originally written by Despicable Me story creator Sergio Pablos.

Smallfoot arrives in theaters on Sept. 28. See the film’s first trailer below.
