St. Vincent is Directing Part of a Horror Anthology Film

Just when you thought St. Vincent’s Annie Clark couldn’t get any cooler, she announces she will be directing part of a horror anthology film, XX. Clark, who co-wrote her segment with Roxanne Benjamin (Soutbound, V/H/S), will make her directorial debut on the project, which features all-female directors and female leads in each segment.

In addition to Clark, other directors attached include Karyn Kusama (The Invitation, Girlfight), Jennifer Lynch (Surveillance, Chained) and Jovanka Vuckovic (The Captured Bird). One wonders if the anthology could have landed the Soska Sisters (American Mary) as well, or if that pair is now completely committed to making subpar movies for WWE Studios. Regardless, it will be interesting to see what the cinematic vision of St. Vincent looks like.
