From the Academy Award-nominated director of Juno, Up in the Air and Young Adult, Jason Reitman, and the Academy Award-winning writer of Juno, Diablo Cody, comes a new story about motherhood and all the ups and downs the singular experience offers. Academy Award winner Charlize Theron teams up with Reitman and Cody again to bring this comedy to life, reuniting the three after they last collaborated on 2011’s Young Adult.
The Focus Features film follows Marlo (Theron), a mother of three who is unexpectedly gifted with a night nanny (Mackenzie Davis), courtesy of her brother (Mark Duplass). Unsure what to make of this new addition to her usual routine, the busy mother finds that a unique bond begins to grow between her and her night nanny, Tully.
