Back in December, Warner Brothers Pictures released the teaser for the Wachowskis’ new film Jupiter Ascending. Today, Warner Brothers released the first full official trailer for the film.
Andy and Lana Wachowski are the masterminds behind The Matrix Trilogy, Cloud Atlas and Speed Racer. Their new film is a sci-fi action thriller about Jupiter Jones (played by Mila Kunis), who is fighting against her own assassination by the Queen of the Universe and how she is supposed to fill her destiny in finishing off the Queen’s reign. Channing Tatum comes into the picture as Caine, who is an “interplanetary warrior” that comes to Earth to hunt down the Queen as well.
Jupiter Ascending will also star Sean Bean (Lord of the Rings), James D’Arcy (Cloud Atlas) and Eddie Redmayne (Les Miserables). The film is set to arrive in theaters on July 18.
