Carly Rae Jepsen Announces New Album Dedicated, Forthcoming Tour Dates

This isn’t an April Fools’ joke: Carly Rae Jepsen has just announced her first album in four years, following her critically acclaimed record E•MO•TION. Dedicated will be released on May 17 via School Boy/Interscope Records, according to Jepsen’s website. Its 15 tracks include her recent singles “Now That I Found You” and “No Drug Like Me,” both of which you should give a spin if you haven’t already. The former even has its own cat-filled music video.

The Canadian pop star’s forthcoming project has been highly anticipated ever since E•MO•TION redefined her as more than “that ‘Call Me Maybe’ girl.” The 2015 record is chock-full of catchy, retro-inspired pop bangers and ballads, and even ranks among Paste’s 30 best breakup albums of all time.
