New Childish Gambino Album Rumored for 2016 Release

From FX’s Atlanta to landing a role in the forthcoming Han Solo film, 2016 has been a fantastic year for Donald Glover’s acting career, and possibly his music career as well. Glover, under his alias Childish Gambino, is rumored to be releasing a new project next month.

A Reddit user noticed a FYE “What’s New” sign with Gambino’s name next to an album titled Awaken, My Love!, supposedly due out Dec. 2. Amazon Germany and U.K., as well as All Music, have also posted the listing, crediting Glover’s home label, Glassnote Entertainment.

Awaken, My Love! has yet to be confirmed in any official capacity, but fans believe it could be the project Glover performed at his Pharos event in September. It seems that only time will tell whether the album is a rumor that can ironically place blame on the internet.
