Cloud Boat
Daytrotter Session - Jun 12, 2013

The heaviness of the air, in Cloud Boat songs, is nearly unbearable. While you’re allowed to float through it somewhat, it’s a deceptive passing. It’s air that sticks like cobwebs to your mouth and it finds a way to vine its way in and down the throat to attach to the heart and the lungs, a form of translucent takeover. You get swarmed by the dark clouds and you just sit in them, as if they were your new sauna, a different shade of sun.
