Watch Father John Misty’s Hazy “God’s Favorite Customer” Video

Father John Misty has given a third song from his recently released God’s Favorite Customer the visual treatment.

The video for his latest album’s title track is directed by his wife, Emma Elizabeth Tillman. The somber vibe of the video matches that of the song as we follow a bit of a beat-up Josh Tillman wandering the hazy streets of New York early one morning before disappearing from frame and surely making one man late for work.

The video follows the surreal “Mr. Tillman” and the darkly comedic, stop-motion “Please Don’t Die” videos. Altogether with his recent cameo in Hotel Artemis, we’re wondering if Tillman maybe has a future acting career on his hands, you know, in between touring and consistently releasing well-received albums (check out our review of his latest here).
