Listen to Florence + The Machine’s Acoustic Set on BBC Radio 6

The wait for Florence Welch’s latest pop epic is almost over. Florence + The Machine’s new album, High As Hope, arrives tomorrow, Friday, June 29. As these last few hours dwindle, take a few minutes to sink into the band’s spritely acoustic set on BBC Radio 6. They played two already-released singles from High As Hope, “Hunger” and “Sky Full Of Song,” as well as “Between Two Lungs,” a track from their very first record, 2009’s Lungs. Listen to the whole set below.

During the set, Florence and company deliver a twangy rendition of “Hunger” and spoon out the lullaby-like “Sky Full Of Song.” They also played a stripped-down version of “Between Two Lungs.”

A third High As Hope single, “Big God,” has also been released. Watch the accompanying video here. Jamie xx is a collaborator on the track, as is Kamasi Washington. Sampha, Tobias Jesso Jr, Kelsey Lu and Thomas Barlett are also featured on High As Hope.

Florence + The Machine are embarking on a lengthy tour in August, beginning Aug. 5 in Montreal and ending Oct. 20 in Minneapolis. You can find all the dates here.
