Frances Quinlan Is Going on Tour

Singer-songwriter Frances Quinlan of Hop Along has announced tour dates in support of her new solo album Likewise.

The tour kicks off in May following Quinlan’s eight-show West Coast run with Mary Lattimore, and covers the East Coast in 14 stops.

Likewise, which was released Jan 31. and named one of Paste’s best albums of the month, is Quinlan’s first LP under her own name, though she started Hop Along solo in 2005. Quinlan, also a painter, has painted every Hop Along album cover, and Likewise’s is no different. Hop Along, meanwhile, have been quiet since 2018’s Bark Your Head Off, Dog.
