Grandaddy Announce Full Return, Share First New Music in a Decade

Music News Grandaddy

Despite a brief live reunion in 2012 and frontman Jason Lytle’s collaboration with Band of Horses, it seemed that Grandaddy’s successful 14-year run had come to an abrupt end with the band’s dissolvement in 2006. However, following the end of a recent European festival run, the California rockers have now announced a full return with the release of a two-song single, their first new music in a decade.

“Way We Won’t” features the band’s characteristic ear-catching guitar riffs and punchy bass lines, while the melancholy “Clear Your History” takes a sparse electronic approach. Grandaddy additionally announced their recent signing to 30th Century Records, and are currently working on their debut album for the label. Listen to their two new tracks below.
