Iggy Pop and Josh Homme Will Play At SXSW

Music News Iggy Pop

The Post Pop Depression train keeps chugging along for Iggy Pop and Josh Homme. Yesterday, we reported that the duo would be hitting the road in late March for an extensive tour in support of their once-secret collaborative album. But news out of Austin indicates that things will get started a little earlier than anticipated.

The duo, along with their impressive band that includes Dean Fertita and Matt Helders, are going to play a show on Mar. 16 at the Moody Theater, presented as an Austin City Limits Live event by BMI and SAG-AFTRA. This new gig comes two days before the scheduled release of Post Pop Depression. Tickets aren’t available online, but you can get priority access to the showcase by registering to attend SXSW here.

Check out footage of the two singles thus far released from Pop and Homme’s album, “Gardenia” and “Break Into Your Heart.”
