Laura Jane Grace & The Devouring Mothers have shared the video for “Apocalypse Now (& Later)” off their debut album Bought to Rot, out now through Bloodshot Records.
“Apocalypse Now” is a song that finds comfort in the possibility of staring down destruction with someone you love at your side. “On top of the world / at the end of the world / with you,” Grace sings in the chorus. The video, directed by Emily Esperenza, balances these moods as well, with shots of riots and demolished buildings intercut with lovers sharing ice cream cones and dancing on beaches.
Additionally, Grace and company have just announced their upcoming spring 2019 North American headlining tour, with 29 shows, including an appearance at SXSW. Find a full list of those dates further down.
