Olivia Rodrigo announces Daisy Chain Fields Festival, featuring an all-female lineup
The festival will take place on August 29 at Irvine’s Great Park and features Mitski, Doechii, Garbage, The Breeders, and many more.
Olivia Rodrigo has sung the praises of Lilith Fair, and the bygone festival has served as inspiration for her latest endeavor. A little more than a week after the release of her commercially and critically acclaimed third LP, you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love, Rodrigo has announced the inaugural Daisy Chain Fields Festival—a music festival featuring a lineup of exclusively female artists, benefitting nonprofit organizations like Center for Reproductive Rights, Black Mamas Matter Alliance, Johns Hopkins Center for Indigenous Health, and National Women’s Law Center.
The festival, which will take place at Great Park in Irvine, California on August 29, will feature a headlining act from Rodrigo and support from Rodrigo’s “heroes and friends,” including Gen-Z breakout pop stars (Doechii, Eli), indie innovators (Santigold, Mitski), and alt-rock elder stateswomen (Garbage, Bikini Kill). Some of the acts on the lineup, like The Breeders, Chappell Roan, and Die Spitz, have supported Rodrigo on past tours or are set to support her on the upcoming Unraveled Tour. Special guests Karen O, Stevie Nicks, and Sarah MacLachlan will also make appearances.

Daisy Chain Fields is a music festival founded on the belief that joy, community, and creativity can inspire meaningful change. It affirms that music and collective experience can serve as enduring drivers of progress and social change. It’s a place where inspiration and curiosity lead to knowledge, strength, and action.
The festival celebrates the voices, artistry, and contributions of women in music, fostering an inclusive environment in which all are welcome. Daisy Chain offers more than live performances; it provides opportunities for education, dialogue, and engagement around issues affecting women and girls in the United States and globally. Through partnerships and on site resources, the festival seeks to ensure that girls and young people have access to information and support they may not otherwise know how to find, and real-life interactions with women and girls who are bright lights in our world.
Net proceeds from the festival are directed toward nonprofit organizations dedicated to advancing and advocating for women and girls. Beyond its philanthropic impact, Daisy Chain’s core purpose is to cultivate joy and shared understanding, creating space for meaningful moments of connection across generations and communities.
Daisies are wild and beautiful. As a chain, they are strong and unbreakable.
