It appears D.C. quartet Priests have a new album on the way. The band tweeted a not-so-subtle hint after their label Sister Polygon mentioned Sunday that a record announcement from one of their bands was imminent.
This new record would serve as a follow-up to 2017’s Nothing Feels Natural, one of that year’s freshest and most fully realized post-punk efforts. It balanced discerning political jabs with surf-rock sheen, particularly on breakout single “Jj.”
