Sun Kil Moon Announces New Album, Debuts New Song “God Bless Ohio”

Sun Kil Moon’s (or Mark Kozelek’s) next solo album will be released on Feb. 28, 2017, per a post on the musician’s website. Common As Light And Love Are Red Valleys of Blood will come out as a double CD via Kozelek’s Caldo Verde Records.

Along with the album announcement comes a new song titled “God Bless Ohio.” Kozelek recounts the pursuit of love, Domino’s pizza, Alcoholics Anonymous, his family, broken pay phones, TV dinners, the healing power of music and God knows what else in this epic of Homer proportions that is set to soft drums and enthralling guitar.
