Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker and Mark Ronson Release “Summer Breaking / Daffodils” Video

Mark Ronson ruled 2015, but it’s easy to forget that he did. His hit “Uptown Funk” ruled the charts for like 1,000 weeks but, ultimately, it was Bruno Mars’ name up on the marquee. Ronson is fine with taking the backseat. He seems to prefer it based on the high-profile names he enlisted for his album Uptown Special, which include Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker and Pulitzer Prize winning novelist Michael Chabon.

Ronson decided to capitalize on Parker’s current popularity, as he told Rolling Stone, by releasing a video for their two collaborations “Summer Breaking” and “Daffodils,” directed by Theo Wenner.

The video has a Miami Vice feel to it and features recent Playboy model Sarah McDaniel on a family vacation. The songs soundtrack the video perfectly with the first supplying an early ‘80s yacht rock vibe and the second offering a more funky disco sound for the dance scenes.
