Rejoice, for The War on Drugs have returned. After the release of their single, “Thinking of a Place,” a 12” vinyl exclusive release for Record Store Day, they’ve also announced a new fall tour. And in case you missed the Record Store Day release, “Thinking of a Place” is now available on all major streaming services. This is all seems to be the band gearing up for their fourth full-length album, which should be released later this year.
The War on Drugs’ massive tour will take them through North America, Europe and the U.K. There’s no official word yet on their new album, but you better believe that we’re giddy there’s one coming. Lost in the Dream was Paste’s number-one album of 2014, so our expectations are certainly pretty high. If the single is any indication, well, gird your loins.
