Now Hiring: Get Paid to Travel Europe and Drink Gin

Travel News gin

Those looking for an internship next year can still apply to spend the next six months traveling Europe, drinking gin, and almost certainly recovering from hangovers.

ILoveGin, a monthly, subscription-based gin club (think “Jelly of the Month” club but for gin), is in need of an intern — actually, a “gintern” — to traverse the U.K. and parts of Europe, taste-testing new gins, visiting distilleries, mingling with brands and ginspiring ginoholics with their ginscoveries.

The six-month paid internship will not be a full-time position. Interns will be required to work two days per week — though two days binging on gin can certainly feel like a week — and, in that time, visit 1-2 gin joints, be it in Edinburgh or London or Rotterdam.

That said, six months of free gin and free tonic — gotta stay hydrated — seems like a much nicer internship than the one spent filing.

(G)interested applicants can apply on the ILoveGin website. Just know, the competition — and drinks — are stiff.
