Visit the VFD Headquarters in New A Series of Unfortunate Events Featurette

Season two of Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events premieres tomorrow, March 30, on Netflix, so in honor of the release, the streamer has shared a new featurette from the past, i.e., before the Baudelaire children were born. You’ll find Jacques and Lemony Snicket (Nathan Fillion and Patrick Warburton, respectively), Uncle Monty (Aasif Mandvi), Aunt Josephine (Alfre Woodard), Jacquelyn (Sara Canning), Dr. Orwell (Catherine O’ Hara) … and a villainous, frightening and disagreeable guest, a word which here means Count Olaf (Neil Patrick Harris), all in attendance.

Based on the acclaimed children’s book series of the same name, season one debuted to positive reviews. Season two looks to be full of excitement and even more intrigue, as the story’s many mysteries come closer to being revealed. Just a few days ago, a special behind-the-scenes look offered an interesting glimpse into the secretive world of the VFD and the Baudelaire orphans’ understanding of the truth about their family.

The new season chronicles books 5-8 in the series, featuring a slew of new faces, including Allison Williams, Lucy Punch, Nathan Fillion, Tony Hale, Robbie Amell, Sara Rue, Roger Bart and David Alan Grier. Join Violet (Malina Weissman), Klaus (Louis Hynes) and Sunny (Presley Smith) in their return to A Series of Unfortunate Events tomorrow, March 30. You can see the VFD featurette below, read Paste’s new interview with Hynes here and find out why season two is “too good to binge” right here.
