Watch Zach Galifianakis Move out in New Trailer for Baskets Season Four

FX has shared a new trailer for the fourth season of Baskets, and it appears Zach Galifianakis’ character Chip is finally moving out of his mother’s house after 49 years. However, despite the change in environment and the advice of his new life coach, Chip is generally dealing with the same problems: his overbearing mother, who’s played by Louie Anderson, and his twin brother Dale, who’s also played by Galifianakis.

Baskets premiered on FX in January 2016, and has enjoyed three seasons of critical acclaim and fairly steady viewership. It was renewed for a fourth season last May. The series also stars Martha Kelly as Chip’s friend Martha, Sabina Scubbia as Penelope, a French woman who married Chip for a green card, and Garry and Jason Clemmens as Chip’s twin brothers Cody and Logan.

Baskets is currently produced by FX and Brillstein Entertainment Partners. It was also previously produced by Louis C.K.’s company Pig Newton before FX cut ties with him in 2017. Jonathan Krisel created Baskets with Galifianakis and C.K., and he also serves as showrunner and director for the series.

The fourth season of Baskets will premiere on FX on Thursday, June 13. Watch the trailer below.
