The People v. O.J. Simpson, Game of Thrones Lead Critics’ Choice TV Nominations

The TV nominees for the 22nd annual Critics’ Choice Awards were announced Monday, and The People v. O.J. Simpson and Game of Thrones were unsurprisingly out in front.

The People v. O.J. Simpson led all nominees with six, including best miniseries/TV movie, and nominations for Sarah Paulson, Courtney B. Vance and Cuba Gooding Jr. Game of Thrones earned five nominations, including best drama series, and supporting nominations for Peter Dinklage, Kit Harington, Emilia Clarke and Lena Headey.

In the world of comedy, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt also earned five nominations, including best comedy series and nominations for Ellie Kemper, Tituss Burgess and Jane Krakowski. HBO topped all nominees with 22, with ABC and Netflix tied for second at 14. FX followed with 12.

The Critics’ Choice Awards will air live Dec. 11 on A&E with host T.J. Miller. Check out the full list of TV nominees here.
