Sophia Lillis to Star in New Netflix Series from The End of the F***ing World Creator

Netflix’s forthcoming supernatural young-adult series I Am Not Okay With This has set its cast, featuring It stars Sophia Lillis and Wyatt Oleff at the forefront.

Created and directed by The End of the F***ing World’s Jonathan Entwistle and based on the graphic novel of the same name, the irreverent coming-of-age series will follow a teenage girl navigating the trials and tribulations of high school while trying to make sense of the telekinetic superpowers burgeoning within her.

The series will star Lillis as the shrewd telekinetic protagonist, Oleff as her dweebish neighbor, The Good Wife’s Sofia Bryant as her best friend and Kathleen Rose Perkins as her mother.

Stranger Things producers Shawn Levy, Dane Levine and Dane Cohen are set to executive produce alongside 21 Laps Entertainment President Josh Barry.
