Jeopardy! Is Coming to Streaming (via Hulu) For the First Time Ever

Start warming up your thinking muscles, because after an incredible 35 years in syndication, Jeopardy! is about to start streaming for the first time ever. The most revered quiz show in TV history arrives on Hulu today in a surprise announcement, with a full 60 episodes that span a variety of different Jeopardy! settings. No news yet on whether that includes any from the prime, Mustachioed Trebek era, but it is known that Hulu will be streaming episodes from Tournament of Champions, College Championship, Kids Week and specific episodes with “fan-favorite contestants.” The episodes will be changed periodically, to keep your trivia knowledge fresh.

Jeopardy! began its life as a Merv Griffin game show in 1964, and then went through various permutations before emerging in its current format from 1984 onward. Don Pardo has served as the show’s iconic announcer since 1975, while current host (and television icon) Alec Trebek came aboard in 1984. The show holds numerous records, such as the most Emmy’s won by a TV game show (at 34), and also received a Peabody Award in 2011.

Check out the most obvious plug in the world, from Trebek himself, below.
