Check Out the Casual First Star Trek: Discovery Cast Photo

Lately, we’ve seen an influx of cast photos from huge shows and films, giving us an inside look at the people in the ensemble cast. Well, the first cast photo from Star Trek: Discovery comes in the form of a dinner group shot, presumably before they’re all jettisoned into space.

The picture originated on the Instagram of Chris Obi, who plays Klingon leader T’Kuvma, and who has since made his Instagram private. Taken at the birthday dinner of James Frain, the shot features Jason Isaacs (Captain Lorca of the USS Discovery), Michelle Yeoh (Captain Georgiou of the USS Shenzou), Obi, Sonequa Martin-Green (Lt. Ramsford of the Discovery) and her husband Kenric (not a cast member), Doug Jones (Lt. Saru, Science Officer of the Discovery), Frain (Sarek) and Shazad Latif (Kol). This follows the news that production of Discovery recently geared up in Toronto, Canada.
