Sorry, Rick Ruben failed the boys on this one. The Avett Brothers know how have a "hoe-down" in the most amazing way- check out THEIR version on the npr tiny desk concert. The slow, over-thought, unemotional version on the new album, with the cheesy fiddle ending does not compare.

Couldn't agree more with the above comment. The NPR tiny desktop version is much more passionate and raw than the album version. Youtube the St. Joseph's Jackson Hole gondola for an improved version of that song as well.
