The cast includes Jennifer Nettles (The Righteous Gemstones) as Hub’s ex-wife, Damon Herriman (Once Upon a Time in Hollywood) as a country music club owner, Beth Grant (No Country for Old Men) as Hub’s mother, Maxwell Jenkins (Arcadian) as Hub’s son, and Jolene Purdy (The White Lotus) as a secret emissary.
Created by Grainger David, the series is executive produced by Bacon, Erik Holmberg, Jason Blum, Jeremy Gold, Chris Dickie, Chris McCumber, Paul E. Shapiro and Erik Oleson (Carnival Row, Daredevil), who also serves as showrunner. The Bondsman is produced by Blumhouse Television, Marker 96, CrimeThink Production Company and Amazon MGM Studios.
“If you fail to process any demons assigned to you, you will be terminated,” warns Purdy’s character in the trailer, which teases chainsaw battles, sharp banter, and a touch of country music. The series marks Bacon’s return to television following Showtime’s City on a Hill and a reunion with Prime Video after I Love Dick. All eight episodes premiere April 3 on Prime Video, and you can watch the trailer below.
