Pretty much confirming last week’s teaser trailer “leak” to have come straight from EA as an effective marketing tool, the publisher and DICE showed off the full (four times longer) trailer for Star Wars Battlefront II on Saturday.
This longer version confirmed what much its shorter counterpart seemed to imply: We’ve got space battles, battles in all three eras, and the game stars Janina Gavankar as an elite Imperial (then possibly First Order) soldier who we now know is named Iden Versio. Taking place after Return of the Jedi, the game is said to follow her story through the destruction of Starkiller Base 30 years later. While she’ll serve as the central protagonist, players will be able to step into the shoes of heroes like Luke Skywalker and Kylo Ren at different points in the campaign, as DICE confirmed over the weekend.
Go ahead and check out the the game’s full cinematic trailer above if you haven’t already. And while you’re at it, you can rewatch last Friday’s The Last Jedi trailer here, because you know you were planning on it anyway.
Star Wars Battlefront II hits PS4, PC and Xbox One on Nov. 17.
