Activision Confirms Call of Duty: WWII, Reveal Livestream Coming Next Week

In true videogame industry fashion, mega-publisher Activision has revealed that they will reveal Call of Duty: WWII next Wednesday via livestream (with a big-ass timer, naturally).

After a telling leak last month, it has been more than suspected for a while now that Sledgehammer Games’ forthcoming entry in the shooter franchise would take players back in time to fight the Axis powers. Until Wednesday at 1 p.m. EST, all we’ve really got to go off of is the image above and the timer at the game’s website, where you’ll also be able to check out the livestream.

To learn more about the rumors leading up to this confirmation and the way Activision delegates development duties to its studios, you can check out our March write-up here. To see what we thought of Sledgehammer Games’ last (and first) Call of Duty game, you can also check out our 2014 review here.

Be sure to check back with Paste next week for more details on Call of Duty: WWII after its livestream’s conclusion.
