Pokémon GO may have taken the world by storm, but that doesn’t put it above the folks at Smosh Games from taking it down a few pegs with an Honest Trailer.
“Prepare to step into Pokémon’s largest region yet: ‘Outside,’ more than twice the size of Kanto,” the trailer announces. “Outside features photo-realistic graphics, billions of NPC’s and a perma-death system.”
The trailer pokes fun at everything from the simplified gameplay to the fan theory arguing that the candy you feed your Pokémon is actually forced cannibalism. Yeah, just think about that for a second. Why else would you get candy when you send your Pokémon to Professor Willow? “It wasn’t enough to catch a team fighting slaves, now you make them eat their friends too,” the trailer says.
And lest we forget, the trailer urges, “Discover the game’s best hook: color-based gang turf warfare.” Admit it, that’s why we’re really all here anyways. Team Valor forever!
