Capcom Provides a Closer Look at Their Forthcoming Resident Evil 7 DLC
Images via CapcomCapcom today released another look at the downloadable content coming for Resident Evil 7, two pieces that connect to the original game’s ending. “Not a Hero” features original series protagonist Chris Redfield, who made a surprise cameo at the end of RE7. Meanwhile, “End of Zoe” follows new character “Joe” and revisits the ultimate fate of character Zoe Baker, which was a bit ambivalent by the end of the main game.
Capcom’s press release provides the following synopsis of “Not a Hero”:
Taking place after the horrific events that befell Ethan Winters in Resident Evil 7 biohazard, Chris is on the hunt for Lucas Baker to bring an end to the Baker tragedy once and for all. BSAA agents had tried to take on Lucas previously, but were unsuccessful and themselves became captives of the menacing trickster. Can Chris save the team while also tracking down Lucas through perilous poison gas filled dungeons?
Both pieces of DLC will be included in the Gold Edition of Resident Evil 7, which will release on Dec. 12. For players who didn’t purchase the Season Pass, “End of Zoe” will go for the price of $14.99 for owners of the original version, while “Not a Hero” is free of purchase for all.
