Listen to Baskery’s Bubbly Single “Love in L.A.,” From Forthcoming U.S. Debut Album
Images via Jiro Schneider, Warner Bros. Records Music News BaskerySwedish trio Baskery have shared the lead single from their forthcoming U.S. debut album, set to release in early 2017 via Warner Bros. Records. “Love in L.A.” describes the Americana alt-rock sisters’ experience of moving to L.A. with handclaps and a peppy bassline.
“To us mellow Swedes, it feels like most Americans are overusing the word love,” Sunniva Bondesson (guitars, vocals) says of the song’s inspiration in a press release. ”’Love in L.A.’ is all about that acting and the sacrifices people expect you to make to get to the next level.”
Baskery will release their full-length U.S. debut next year, produced by Grammy award-winner Andrew Dawson (fun., Kanye West). Listen to “Love in L.A.” below and find Baskery’s fall tour dates, plus Paste Cloud audio from the band’s 2014 Daytrotter session, beneath that.
