Cage The Elephant Announce “Live & Unpeeled” Acoustic Tour This Spring

As Cage The Elephant gear up for a heavy festival season this summer, with appearances at Governor’s Ball, Bonnaroo and Boston Calling, among numerous others, already on the books, they’ve decided to flip the script on their usual high-octane live experience by announcing a spring acoustic tour.

Dubbed “Live & Unpeeled,” the nine-date tour is the first such outing for the band, inspired by their stripped-down performance at Neil Young’s annual Bridge School Benefit concert last fall, and will see them joined by a string quartet. They’ll be starting off with a four-show run in California before heading east for dates in Washington, D.C., Virginia, North Carolina and Tennessee, including a tour-closing night at the historic Ryman Auditorium.

Tickets go on pre-sale next Wednesday, March 8, and on sale to the general public Friday, March 10. More info on tickets can be found here.
