Watch Leon Bridges Go Above and “Beyond” on Fallon

Leon Bridges appeared suave as ever on Thursday night when he stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to sing his love song “Beyond,” a single from his 2018 album Good Thing, and he delivered a simply swoon-worthy performance. You can watch it below.

It’s on Good Thing, a rich, cohesive album of love and lust songs, where Bridges finds his groove. His 2015 debut, Coming Home, is a neo-soul wave of smooth listening. Good Thing, however, is replete with funky hooks, heavier R&B influences and downright dirty guitarwork, a product of Bridges’ Texas blues roots. And, as previously implied, he looks pretty slick doing it, too.
