Michelle Obama Enlists Missy Elliott, Kelly Clarkson, Janelle Monaé and More for Charity Single

Hillary may have the Broad City gals, but Michelle Obama, she has Missy Elliott, Dianne Warren and Queen Latifah. The first lady is giving a keynote address at SXSW tomorrow and she’ll be joined by her famous friends who have lent their voices to a new song debuting at midnight tonight called “This is For My Girls.”

The song, which you can hear here, features Missy Elliott, Janelle Monaé, Kelly Clarkson, Kelly Rowland, Zendaya, Chloe & Halle, Jadagrace and Lea Michele.

Dianne Warren wrote the song for the Obama administration’s Let Girls Learn initiative and the White House’s #62MillionGirls campaign, which aims to help “more than 62 million girls around the world” complete their education, Billboard reports.
