We have to credit Netflix for sticking by a good thing, and GLOW is most certainly a good thing. Some may hate on Netflix for swiftly giving the boot to shows like Sense8 or Girlboss, but if it means making more room for outstanding original programming like GLOW, so be it. Netflix has officially renewed the 1980s women’s wrestling comedy for a second season.
GLOW will join One Day at a Time, Santa Clarita Diet and Dear White People as recently debuted Netflix comedies that are seeing a second season. Here’s to many more pile drivers for years to come.
