Halloween is upon us, which means it’s time for spooky costumes, trick-or-treating, and perhaps more importantly, Halloween parties. Whether you’re gearing up to attend a Halloween celebration this weekend, plan on throwing your own, or just plan on sitting at home and passing out candy — a great cocktail can be just what you need to take a spooky night to the next level. Below are a few great options for spooky concoctions to sip on while you celebrate.
Up In Flames Inspired by Pyrophobia: the fear of fire… Created by Masa Urushido of Saxon + Parole
Ingredients: 2 parts Maker’s 46 ¾ part lemon juice ¾ part of grilled peach sherbet* 2-3 mint leaves for garnish
Directions: Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a rocks glass. Garnish with mint leaves and top off the drink by flaming ground cinnamon.
Sherbet recipe Grill 2-3 peaches (or any seasonal fruit) until nicely charred. Mix the peaches in a blender with equal parts white sugar and strain.
Ingredients: 1 1/4 parts EFFEN® Blood Orange Vodka 3/4 part Courvoisier® VS Cognac 1/2 part Simple Syrup 1/2 part Fresh Lemon Juice Orange Twist, for Garnish
Directions: Combine ingredients in Boston Shaker with ice and shake vigorously. Strain into a chilled martini cocktail glass with sugared rum. Garnish with orange twist.

Ingredients: 2 oz. Viniq Original 2 oz. dry champagne or Prosecco Dry ice
Directions: Pour Viniq into glasses, top with champagne and drop in dry ice

Ingredients: 1 ½ parts CRUZ Reposado Tequila ½ part Mezcal ¾ part Fino Sherry ½ part pear liqueur
Directions: Stir ingredients and strain over large ice cube. Garnish with a lemon twist (optional).

Ingredients: 2 oz. of Viniq Glow 1 oz. of lemon 1 oz. of triple sec Rim glass with black sugar sprinkles
Directions: Add chilled Viniq Glow, lemon juice, triple sec and ice to a cocktail shaker, shake mixture then pour into serving glass. Garnish with paper straws
