Description
Anna Elle is a singer/songwriter who was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. She has both a beautifully distinctive voice as well as original and stirring lyrics. Her sound can be put into the alternative-rock genre, giving her music both an upbeat and rock driven sound. Anna’s music has been described as “a unique sound that is both refreshing and intriguing.” She is now working on promoting her music nation wide. Recently getting back from recording in Nashville, TN with producer/songwriter Billy Smiley, she is in the process of making her debut album. At the age of seven, Anna became mesmerized with Aerosmith frontman, Steven Tyler. After studying Tyler and attending several Aerosmith concerts, she began entertaining the thought that becoming a performer was what she wanted to do with her life. Anna then began taking voice lessons and sang at various malls, hotels, state fairs, weddings, and charity events. Although Anna enjoyed all of this, it wasn’t until she heard My Chemical Romance for the first time that she knew music was what she wanted her to do with her life. Battling both severe anxiety and depression through most of her teenage years, Anna openly admits that she wouldn’t still be alive today if it wasn’t for My Chemical Romance’s frontman, Gerard Way’s life saving lyrics. She is often quoted stating “I owe so much to Gerard Way for giving me the hope and courage to make up my mind that life is worth living for. I pray to God that I’m able to do that through my music for others that may find themselves in the dark place that I was once in.”
