Award-winning songwriter Christa Wells began forging a path as an indie artist in 2009 with piano-driven songwriting that poignantly speaks the condition of the human heart. Her voice and style has been compared with Alison Sudol (A Fine Frenzy), Feist, Regina Spektor and Sarah McLachlan.

Christa has released five solo projects (Frame the Clouds, How Emptiness Sings, Feed Your Soul, Covers, Velveteen).

Her COVERS - produced by esteemed Nashville producer Ben Shive - features reimagined versions of five alternative rock songs from the late 80s-90s (The Smiths, Depeche Mode, Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana, U2).

Her most recent release, Velveteen, also produced by Ben Shive, was written as she was on the verge of losing her marriage and deals honestly with the emotions of loss and healing.
