Aaron Kyle Jefferson was born in Decatur, Alabama on July 9, 1993. As a child he showed interest in instrumental music and song writing. When he was ten, his parents (Fred and Sharon Jefferson) signed him up for his first drum lessons. He showed a natural gift for playing percussion instruments and played in high school as well as in church. In his 9th grade year of high school he began rapping on Sunday mornings in his church. After a number of performances in local churches, he was discovered by a gospel artist Andre Carr. Carr took him under his wing and allowed him to open up for him at performances in the south-east area. It was at this time Kyle chose his stage name (J. Forgiven). In 2009 and 2010 he travelled to various churches with Carr. Finally in April 2010 Kyle released his first album entitled “Keep it On”. Today, he is still performing and has released his sophomore album entitled “Fear No Evil”. His single “Not My Home” featuring Nathan Johnson is quickly becoming one of the most popular Christian rap songs in the country. Kyle’s commitment to write gospel music is strong and he has vowed never to sell out. For him, serving the LORD with his gifts is not an option. Kyle uses his unique ability to share the gospel with people of all ages. He aims to reach everyone with open ears and hearts with his message.
