The old joke goes, "How do you get to Carnegie Hall, the answer is "practice, practice, practice". On December 16th, after years of doing just that,18 year-old singer/songwriter Maris will be taking the stage at the historical venue.
2300 miles separate Missoula Montana from Manhattan, but for Maris, it's a journey she only dreamed about, until now.Maris first gained a substantial following with her version of Dolly Parton's "Jolene" on Post Modern Jukebox which has been viewed over 750,000 times on YouTube. A few months ago she hit "record" on her iPhone, picked up a bottle of Kikkoman soy sauce to mimic a microphone and sang her interpretation of a jazz lounge singer performing "Fly Me To The Moon." The impromptu performance went viral on Twitter and has since received over two million views, establishing and igniting a fervent fan base who began to immerse themselves in all things Maris.
"Honey," this exclusive Noisetrade EP serves as a great introduction to a very talented artist featuring self penned songs from past recordings, her latest single, "Liar," and a joint collaboration with hot producer/DJ King Yager. Later this month will see the eagerly awaited release of her new single, "Boys" to be followed by a new EP, "Lovelust" in early 2018
