Description

This is a collection of the songs I wrote during the fall semester of 2015 to help my 9th and 11th grade Bible students learn our memory verses. The tracks are rough homemade recordings captured on a single microphone (hence some of the background noise and inconsistent levels). Nothing fancy here--just me and my guitar--but hopefully this album will help you memorize Scripture. No tip is required to download, by the way, but any tips will be donated to Life Impact International.

A shout out to all of my students at Heritage Christian School who enthusiastically sing along with me in class and inspire me to keep writing Scripture songs. Special thanks to my friend and colleague Caroline Ridenour who challenged me a few years ago to spice up my teaching a bit--an encouragement which led me to discover that I had some creative abilities within me that I never knew I had. Ever since that conversation I have been writing songs for teaching, worship, and simply for the sake of songwriting... Most of all I am thankful to God for His many blessings--the greatest of which is His Son, Jesus!
