This album is lovingly dedicated to the memory of Mr. Ralph J. Vaughn, father of Linda Vaughn, soprano lead vocalist for The Rosetones. Mr. Vaughn died in a boating accident on June 10, 1972. Also perished in the accident were Linda's sisters Debbie (age 18) and Mrs. Marilyn Loftus (age 24), along with one of Linda's best friends, Miss Jeanie Hanning (age 16), all of Pascagoula.
Bro. Vaughn had faithfully served the Fairview Baptist Church in the capacity of Sunday School Superintendent for almost 10 years till the time of the accident. This album fulfills an effort he had begun and was making plans for the financing of production of the album before his passing. Your heart will be especially touched as Linda sings "On The Sunny Banks", which was her daddy's favorite song.
